We often warn our students about the ramifications of plagiarizing: a zero in the gradebook, expulsion from college, or legal action. By the time students get to high school, we assume they have received instruction about how to avoid plagiarism. However, in the face of such severe consequences, we cannot afford to assume. ​

Barb and I are continuing our ILC blog this year. As you can see, we've migrated it from WordPress into our Weebly sites, but it still will contain the same helpful posts about research, reading, and educational technology that we hope you enjoyed before. Unlike WordPress, you cannot subscribe to our blog, but an RSS feed is available in the sidebar for those of you who use readers, such as Feedly. We also will share our posts on the staff email on a monthly basis, as we have done in the past. As always, feel free to submit your ideas and/or volunteer to write a guest post.
